Gorka Gonzalez
More than a century driven by the same passion. Gorka González is a Spanish brand of designer hats, handcrafted in a workshop in San Sebastián. But its story began long before that.
In 1914, the Alocén family shaped a legacy that lives on today. Three generations of master hatmakers dedicated their lives to the craft, guided by precision, patience, and respect for fine materials.
Master craftsman Juan Carlos Alocén , from his workshop in Vitoria-Gasteiz, cultivated a serene obsession: to find the best raw materials, preserve the tools of yesteryear, and perfect every gesture. That same obsession inspires the Gorka González brand today.
MANUFACTURING
Each hat is handmade in our workshop, following artisanal techniques and traditional processes.
We work with beaver and rabbit felt, toquilla straw, and other natural materials selected for their quality and durability. Each piece undergoes a meticulous process that includes shaping, steaming, sewing, and custom finishing.
We use hand tools and methods that respect the craft, ensuring that each hat retains the soul of the artisan who created it.
The result: unique pieces, designed to last, with attention to detail in every seam and shape.
